Inspired by Donna Haraway's A Cyborg Manifesto, this project argues against the deep-rooted dualisms in our ideas through the form of a cyborg. Simulating a combination of human skins and mechanical joints, the sculpture embraces a non-binary quality and suggests diversity over purity. It indicates a hybridity not only of the natural and the crafted, but also of masculinity and femininity.
